A Certificate in Nursing Assistant course is a program that provides individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide basic patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The course typically takes 4 to 12 weeks to complete and includes both theoretical and practical components.

During the course, students learn about patient care, infection control, communication skills, and safety procedures. They also learn about the principles of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and medication administration.

The practical component of the course includes hands-on training in providing basic patient care, such as assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and observing and reporting changes in a patient's condition. The basic eligibility for courses in physiotherapy is 10+2 passed or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, biology/Maths and English. At least 45% of marks should be secured in each of these subjects. Age limit for the candidates is 17 years.
